Fishing Experience: Dave Johnson Grew up fishing the blue ribbon trout streams of the Catskill mountains in New York State, as well as the Great Lakes and their tributaries, for trout, steelhead and Salmon. Saltwater flyfishing for Strippers and Bluefish in the Atlantic were also common pursuits. Started out fishing with my Brother and Father, as a young child in Ohio, in small ponds and impoundments for anything that would bite. Currently enjoy fishing time spent with my 3 boys, chasing trout, steelhead and salmon in the Great Lakes region, as well as Alaska, and fishing Georgia’s many trout streams. We also enjoy chasing Strippers in Lake Lanier.
