A native Southerner from Dunwoody, GA, Rob Smith fished and hunted the Chattahoochee watershed long before the National Park Service acquired the CRNRA in 1978. Rob graduated from Brevard College, Brevard, NC, in 1980 and worked as a game warden for DNR in the 80’s.
You can find Rob managing the fly shop at The Fish Hawk Fly Shop in BuckHead, GA when he is not guiding for trout on he ‘Hooch. Rob also guides fly fishermen for Stripped Bass on Lake Lanier during Spring, Fall and Winter periods.
