Fishing Experience: Bruce caught the fishing bug when he was six years old. His journey into fly fishing began one summer when he was nine years old. His uncle had a pond full of fish and gave him an easy choice—a cane pole or a fiberglass fly rod. Bruce chose the fly rod, with some split shot and a few hooks and was let loose. Since no one said it wasn’t possible, he taught himself how to roll cast worms and live grasshoppers. Since then, he has been trying new methods, tying his own flies, and learning everything he can about fishing. Bruce has been very fortunate to have fished in Hawaii, California, the Rockies, North, South, East, the Gulf, the Caribbean, Belize, Bermuda, the Spanish Pyrenees, and Austria. Now, he has the time and ability to share his love of fly fishing with others. Bruce invites you to trust that he will do everything he can to make your day on the river with him successful and, most of all, fun.
