Corporate Outtings

Arrange a “Fly-fishing the Chattahoochee” seminar for small or large groups where co-workers and colleagues can bond in a casual setting along the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area which has over 10,000 acres. Adequate amenities and even historic and modern dwellings can be utilized through our individual business permit. Classes are about fishing but the setting is rich in human and natural history. Find out how you can take advantage of your local natural resources for exercise areas, hiking, birdwatching, paddle sports, and fishing. Organize a canoe flotilla with stops along the way to picnic and observe historical sites and view wildlife.

Participatory Events

For example, we have a catered picnic with a fly-fishing theme the day of the rehearsal dinner for an upcoming wedding. Another example, maybe hold a bachelor party on the river… with fly fishing guides helping to keep you on the fish — and away from the “gentlemen’s clubs” in town.

Client Testimonials

My girlfriend, Daylan, and I went on a guided trip down the Hooch with Chris Scalley. We are habitual fishers of small mountain streams on the Smoky Mountains. We were both intimidated and curious of fishing such a large tail water in Atlanta, especially from a boat. We ended up having a blast. We learned just how diverse the Chattahoochee River is, holding deep channels which we do not see often, but also holding spaces of shallow, rocky shoals. Chris Scalley taught us so much on the water. He knew exactly where we should cast, where each run was. Chris knows this body of water like the back of his hand. Unfortunately, we missed out on the Hooch’s wild browns, but we brought in a lot of beautiful rainbows. The water and surrounding ecosystem is prime territory for beautiful fish.
Who would think this gem would be hidden in Atlanta, GA?
