Corporate Outtings — Arrange a “Fly-fishing the Chattahoochee” seminar for small or large groups where co-workers and colleagues can bond in a casual setting along the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area which has over 10,000 acres. Adequate amenities and even historic and modern dwellings can be utilized through our individual business permit. Classes are about fishing but the setting is rich in human and natural history. Find out how you can take advantage of your local natural resources for exercise areas, hiking, birdwatching, paddle sports, and fishing. Organize a canoe flotilla with stops along the way to picnic and observe historical sites and view wildlife.

Participatory Events — For example, we have a catered picnic with a fly-fishing theme the day of the rehearsal dinner for an upcoming wedding. Another example, maybe hold a bachelor party on the river… with fly fishing guides helping to keep you on the fish — and away from the “gentlemen’s clubs” in town.

Group Instruction — Fly Fishing 101. Learn the ABC’s of fly fishing from the experts with an impressive 6 to 1 student/instructor ratio. This takes place along the river within the CRNRA; or, invite us to another locale to conduct the class — maybe your local country club, Elks Lodge or your home (as long as it has a large, flat yard).

Group Guides — We can accommodate large groups of anglers for both wade and float trip adventures.

Fly Tying Tuition — At River Through Atlanta Guide Service all our guides are renowned fly tiers familiar with effective local patterns that work. We will organize private fly tying sessions for groups and individuals. Just e-mail us your schedule and skill level. Beginners and experts will benefit from these highly acclaimed fly-tying conclaves.
