Mark Macdonald grew up fishing the Island Ford section of the Chattahoochee River with a conventional tackle. While in college, he was given his first fly rod. He has since spent many a day on the Hooch as well as traveled out West and several salt water destinations. Amongst his favorites, aside from the Chattahoochee, are the Madison River in Montana and shallow water fishing the Destin area. He is an accomplished fly tier and is active with the local Trout Unlimited chapter. Mark is a full time police officer for a local city and has two children.
